Pastor Augustus Luedke is a testament of how the Lord is able to completely change someone’s life. He grew up in Kansas and was in and out of church but was never really committed to it. Left home at 17 and lived a riotous lifestyle while pipelining and cowboying. In November of 2020, he came to the end of himself and recognized his need for a Saviour and Christ radically changed his life. In December of 2020 he married his wife Allie Luedke.  Shortly after that he was called to preach.

Gus and Allie were both baptized and married in their home church of Smoky Valley Baptist Church in Lindsborg, Kansas. While faithfully attending church they grew in the Lord and served in a variety of ministries until God called them into the church building ministry in January of 2023. They then moved into a camper full time and traveled the country building and remodeling Independent Baptist Churches. During this time the Lord had blessed them with two sons Aiden and Asher.

While serving in the building ministry, the Luedke’s were passing through Wyoming and stopped in at Cornerstone Baptist Church for an evening service. The Lord tied their hearts to the people of CBC and just over a month later, in September of 2025, Cornerstone voted to call Pastor Luedke as their next Pastor. 

Pastor Luedke is passionate about serving the Lord and sharing the life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ.
